For a number of years now the College of the Resurrection has invited
newly ordained priests to a workshop on hearing confessions,
affectionately known as “Sin Week”. There are still a number of places available on this.
Fr. Stebbing CR runs the course and writes:
“Hearing confessions and giving spiritual direction is at the heart of our
priestly ministry, something we do as priests. This workshop is intended
to give priests confidence in this ministry. We will look at practicalities,
talk about the theory and consider how to rejuvenate this sacramental
ministry and make it more widely available.”
At the request of the Master, Fr. Stebbing is offering this to the Brethren.
The workshop begins on the evening of Monday 17th February and
finishes after lunch on Thursday 20th. Cost is £150.00. Please apply to Fr.
